In the 16th minute, Alonzo Burutzagi made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Feo. Babones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lázaro Illan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serafin Rufio. Médano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Marcos Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Kinsen to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Médano's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Burni came free, but Serafin Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Etxepare's late challenge caught a Médano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Etxepare helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Babones's Celestino Etxepare got a free kick in the 57th minute. Médano's Lucio Jordy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Babones. If Jonatan Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Jordy kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Babones's Celestino Etxepare was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafin Rufio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Babones's Dario Burni got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Feo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teo Sustrai in the 74th minute. A collision led to Babones getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Celestino Etxepare hit a great ball. Eugenio Abel might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Feo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenio Abel ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 played minutes Babones got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Lekubegi. If Marcos Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Sustrai in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Feo saved Babones from getting behind. Alfonso Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Abel in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
