In the 3rd minute of the match Marcelino Cayo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Enetz skillfully saved the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Pedro Bautista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gogo Eriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Enol in the 9th minute of play forced Halcones's goalkeeper Enzo Enetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Halcones's Fulgencio Inocente seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fulgencio Inocente the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Halcones protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fulgencio Inocente had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Higinio Bihar shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Pedro Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huerta's Gogo Eriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Bautista in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ambrosio Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Eriz having to interfere. Huerta's Gogo Eriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Huerta from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes Halcones got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Rumaldo. In the 27th minute, Higinio Bihar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enzo Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Enol in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Pedro Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halcones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nereo Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Eriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Halcones's attentive Rene Ihintza managed to snatch the ball when Ambrosio Cordera made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. When Kaká Marques came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Halcones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Marques couldn't finish the play. Pedro Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gogo Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Eriz was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Kaká Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kaká Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Enol was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the game Higinio Bihar made a throw-in which Eustaquio Enol played forward. 57 minutes into the match, Halcones's goalkeeper Enzo Enetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Timo. 61 minutes into the match, Halcones's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Enol came free, but Enzo Enetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Peruanton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Enzo Enetz made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Halcones's goalkeeper Enzo Enetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Peruanton. In the 66th minute of the match Huerta got a corner. Halcones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Higinio Bihar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Higinio Bihar made a great header on Huerta's corner, it was just that Halcones's Enzo Enetz managed to reach the ball for a save. Halcones made a substitution. Cecilio Bartoleme replaced Rene Ihintza. When Cecilio Bartoleme fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halcones's protests and gave Cecilio Bartoleme a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 minutes, Samuel Romildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halcones and the Huerta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuel Romildo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Timo got free with Enzo Enetz in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Enol in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Huerta booed when Halcones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Bartoleme didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Huerta's Enzo Enetz threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustaquio Enol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 95 minutes into the game, Anibal Peruanton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Enetz. Anibal Peruanton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2.
