In the 2nd minute, Filiberto Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Zacarias Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Túlio Negro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Tirso having to interfere. Anacleto Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute of the match Eulalio Euloxu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Tirso skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Zacarias Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Real Once's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Laurgain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Tirso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Brinkman's zone, Túlio Negro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Tirso came out of the goal and Túlio Negro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Baltasar Cidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fc Real Once booed when Brinkman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Brinkman's Baltasar Cidro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Fc Real Once's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Alfredo Boniel scored to the left of an out of position Esteban Hustaz, making the score, 2-0. Urbano Dolfos's late challenge caught a Brinkman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Dolfos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fc Real Once getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Urbano Dolfos hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Fc Real Once's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Gaspard came free, but Esteban Hustaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zacarias Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jeremias Tirso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eulalio Euloxu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Negro got free with Jeremias Tirso in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 58 minutes, Túlio Negro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Real Once's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Negro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 59 in the game by Zacarias Laurgain from a close distance when the talented Jeremias Tirso managed to make a qualified save. Brinkman's players were relieved. The long shot by Eulalio Euloxu in the 65th minute really tested Jeremias Tirso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hector Loren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. Humberto Cucao hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Amadeo Haitz, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Túlio Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Zacarias Laurgain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jeremias Tirso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Brinkman's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Laurgain came free, but Jeremias Tirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zacarias Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The long shot by Eulalio Euloxu in the 94th minute really tested Jeremias Tirso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Túlio Negro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc Real Once's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
