Carolo Urko hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Retiro FC booed when Brinkman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Urko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Oto, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ernesto Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jeremias Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Tirso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Vellito went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Brinkman's Jeremias Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Vellito in the 34th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Amadeo Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Isusko struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Urbano Lauren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brinkman. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Filiberto Guter's late challenge caught a Retiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Guter helped the player get up and apologised. 53 minutes into the match, Brinkman's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Gaitano came free, but Jeremias Tirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Aureo in the 57th minute of play. Jeremias Tirso was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Ernesto Gaitano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Gaitano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Jeremias Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Gaitano in the 72nd minute of play. Carolo Urko was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Brinkman's Carolo Urko got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Retiro FC booed when Brinkman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Ernesto Gaitano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jeremias Tirso, passed just outside the right post. Brinkman's Jeremias Tirso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Brinkman from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Vellito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Jeremias Tirso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benjamin Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Retiro FC played a much better game than Brinkman and deserved their victory. The Brinkman players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
