Bernabe Juvenal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Lucero went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bernabe Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Club Pumas UNAM's Mauro Lucero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Juvenal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bernabe Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marcelo Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, FC Dynamite's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Baumer came free, but Bernabe Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marcelo Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Pumas UNAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Abadie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Juvenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Lucero in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Juvenal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-3 became the score in the 29th minute when Mauro Lucero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Brayden Markou notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Pumas UNAM's Edgard Llanos. Edgard Llanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Dynamite's Bernabe Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Abadie in the 40th minute of play. Marcelo Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bernabe Juvenal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Roque Senon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Juvenal. FC Dynamite's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Senon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brayden Markou was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Llanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Chalupský in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Blai in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Pumas UNAM's goalkeeper Edgard Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Pumas UNAM's Edgard Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden Markou in the 54th minute of play. Edgard Llanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden Markou in the 57th minute of the match. FC Dynamite's Bernabe Juvenal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dynamite from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Ceferino Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Llanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden Markou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Teofilo Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mauro Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Benito Koldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Pumas UNAM and the FC Dynamite players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Club Pumas UNAM got a freekick which was hit by Benito Koldo. After a rather tough play, FC Dynamite's Fabio Marin got a free kick in the 69th minute. Mauro Lucero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Juvenal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, FC Dynamite's Brayden Markou made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Llanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Abeitia in the 87th minute of play forced Club Pumas UNAM's goalkeeper Edgard Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Teofilo Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Nofre hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Marcelo Abadie notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of FC Dynamite's Bernabe Juvenal. Bernabe Juvenal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Pumas UNAM played a much better game than FC Dynamite and deserved their victory. The FC Dynamite players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
