With 9 minutes on the clock, Fabio Marin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Dynamite! Mauro Lucero shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 14th minute, Club Pumas UNAM's Everardo Unax ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Juvenal. Bernabe Juvenal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Club Pumas UNAM's zone, Brayden Markou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Llanos came out of the goal and Brayden Markou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Mauro Lucero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernabe Juvenal, 2-0. A collision led to Club Pumas UNAM getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Benito Koldo hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, FC Dynamite's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Lucero came free, but Bernabe Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Benito Koldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernabe Juvenal. The goal made the score 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Lucero in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Dynamite's goalkeeper Bernabe Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Pumas UNAM's Edgard Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden Markou in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Damian Tulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Pumas UNAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dynamite the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brayden Markou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Ceferino Baumer made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Juvenal. FC Dynamite's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Bernabe Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Lucero in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, FC Dynamite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Blai to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Lucero in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Ladislav Chalupský managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dynamite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislav Chalupský was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Baumer in the 70th minute of play forced FC Dynamite's goalkeeper Bernabe Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes FC Dynamite got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Blai. Bernabe Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Lucero in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Club Pumas UNAM's Mauro Lucero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Juvenal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Mauro Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Dynamite's Emanuel Balesio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 85 minutes of play, Club Pumas UNAM's Ceferino Baumer made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Juvenal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Brayden Markou came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FC Dynamite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brayden Markou couldn't finish the play. Ladislav Chalupský might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Llanos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislav Chalupský ran back to his position shaking his head.
