Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) Academia de Lobos's Narciso Bela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godfredo Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Erdiano having to interfere. Gualterio Erdiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Nuxila in the 7th minute of play. If Severiano Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hornillos's Ciriaco Cucao got a free kick in the 11th minute. Godfredo Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Erdiano having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Hornillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Chumo to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arnoldo Oihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Narciso Bela made a precise shot to the right of Arnoldo Oihan. Hornillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Gualterio Erdiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Severiano Nuxila might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Erdiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Nuxila ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Nuxila in the 37th minute of play forced Academia de Lobos's goalkeeper Gualterio Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Severiano Nuxila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia de Lobos's Gualterio Erdiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Nuxila in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Erdiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bela in the 58th minute of the match. Godfredo Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Transito couldn't finish the play. When Sixto Gurutz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia de Lobos's protests and gave Sixto Gurutz a yellow card for diving instead. Sixto Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Niceto Kemen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia de Lobos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hornillos the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Niceto Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Academia de Lobos got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Vincente. A collision led to Academia de Lobos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Martin Dei hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hornillos's Raul Brion tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Hornillos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Academia de Lobos's performance. The match ended with a win for Academia de Lobos.
