The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Les Poissons Rouges FC. Isaias Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Dubardo in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Sepultura FC's goalkeeper Isaias Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Lugo. After 19 played minutes Sepultura FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Nisio. Paulo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Ixona in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Les Poissons Rouges FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Lauro to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 29 played minutes Sepultura FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Gaskon. With a little luck, Sepultura FC's Isaias Teodor got control of the ball when Rene Lugo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sepultura FC's Rodolfo Ixona got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Ixona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Les Poissons Rouges FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Frasco came free, but Paulo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Mauro Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Frasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Eugenio Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sepultura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Gaskon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Les Poissons Rouges FC's Paulo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Frasco in the 54th minute of play. Rodolfo Ixona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Paulo Rainerio made a huge save. After 58 minutes, Ramon Frasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sepultura FC and the Les Poissons Rouges FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramon Frasco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Les Poissons Rouges FC booed when Sepultura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Les Poissons Rouges FC's Serafin Barea tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sepultura FC's Aquilino Venceslao shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulo Rainerio but with some difficulty. Mauro Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Isaias Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sepultura FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jacinto Nisio hit a great ball. 1-2 became the score in the 77th minute when Rene Lugo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Lino Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ramon Frasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Rainerio was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Les Poissons Rouges FC's goalkeeper Paulo Rainerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Ixona. Mauro Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sepultura FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
