The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Baltasar Arano came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Tecpan Xochitlan Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Arano couldn't finish the play. Abel Eriz made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Federico Teodor sent off a good shot on target. If Vladimiro Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tecpan Xochitlan Fc getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sixto Gonza hit a great ball. Bernardo Kiliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Iliana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rosendo Frantzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Elorri during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, one of Tecpan Xochitlan Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tecpan Xochitlan Fc. Edelmiro Bieito shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 35 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Argi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Eriz, 1-0. Vladimiro Argi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Abel Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Rosendo Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rosendo Frantzes made the kick off in the second half. When Anguli FC's Vladimiro Argi in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Anguli FC's zone, Rosendo Frantzes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Kiliz came out of the goal and Rosendo Frantzes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Eriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Argi in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Anguli FC booed when Tecpan Xochitlan Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vladimiro Argi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Anguli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Argi couldn't finish the play. When Anguli FC's Vladimiro Argi in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Federico Teodor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Eriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Argi in the 85th minute of play forced Tecpan Xochitlan Fc's goalkeeper Abel Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Anguli FC's Bernardo Kiliz got control of the ball when Fernando Iliana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Anguli FC's Vladimiro Argi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Eriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nestor Dalmu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Anguli FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
