In the 24th minute Apolo Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Urtungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Tabb was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Fabio Jerardo's late challenge caught a Talleres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Jerardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Salado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Urtungo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Eduardo Paul sent off a good shot on target. If Patricio Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres FC's goalkeeper Victor Galsino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Talleres FC's Eduardo Paul made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Urtungo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Amador Guillelme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Victor Galsino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Salado fans cheered their team off the field, for while Talleres FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
