Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Elija took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Venancio Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naipe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Patrido in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Pedroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Gessler FC's Venancio Cordairo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Brais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Naipe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Ladio to maneuver through the defense. Naipe FC's Lázaro Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Elija in the 12th minute of play. Venancio Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Pedroso having to interfere. Ignacio Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marcos Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Naipe FC's Marcos Pedroso threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jimeno Patrido, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 24 in the game by Venancio Firme from a close distance when the talented Marcos Pedroso managed to make a qualified save. Gessler FC's players were relieved. When Naipe FC's Jimeno Patrido in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36thth minute of the game Venancio Cordairo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naipe FC's Lázaro Brais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Venancio Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimeno Patrido to strike the kick off in the second half. When Maximo Tristan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gessler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Tristan couldn't finish the play. Marcos Pedroso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Patrido went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jimeno Patrido's late challenge caught a Gessler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Patrido helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Naipe FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jimeno Patrido hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Venancio Firme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Pedroso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Naipe FC's zone, Maximo Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Brais came out of the goal and Maximo Tristan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lázaro Brais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Elija in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Naipe FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gessler FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
