Emilio Perez came out of the goal and Severo Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Corderun's late challenge caught a Tunuyán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Corderun helped the player get up and apologised. Erubiel Montel had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Teo Raebert's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 37th minute Denis Dei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Haroldo Abadia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mailín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tunuyán AFC the free kick. A collision led to Mailín FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Dei to strike the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dei in the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Denis Dei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunuyán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Dei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Montel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Perez made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Anibal Herauso sent off a good shot on target. Severo Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anibal Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Tunuyán AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sergio Iaki hit a great ball. Anibal Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Perez having to interfere. Severo Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Severo Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Emilio Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Herauso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Emilio Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mailín FC. The Tunuyán AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 95 minutes into the game, Denis Dei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Erubiel Montel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mailín FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
