Tomas Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Abbott's Ambrosio Napier tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Lohitzun got free with Lorenzo Elequemedo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ermegildo Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. David Peruanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Iago during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Manantial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Iago to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ermegildo Esiquio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Peruanton having to interfere. When Ermegildo Esiquio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Manantial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Esiquio couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, Abbott was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Jon to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Errapel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Angelo Ferrer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Peruanton. Abbott's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Ferrer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 47 minutes of play, Abbott's Guaberto Lohitzun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Elequemedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Esiquio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Elequemedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Feliu went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Angelo Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Abbott's Silvio Feliu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Elequemedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Peruanton made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Angelo Ferrer sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Abbott's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Esiquio came free, but David Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Manantial's zone, Silvio Feliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Elequemedo came out of the goal and Silvio Feliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Gomesano was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Abbott getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gabriel Gomesano hit a great ball. If Guaberto Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Silvio Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Guaberto Lohitzun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbott's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Lohitzun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Abbott fans cheered their team off the field, for while Manantial had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
