Epifanio Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Pascual Gregory left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thunderstrock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gregorio Salbatore kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Sunderland AFC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 17th minute of the game, when Efrain Firme after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Thunderstrock's goal. Efrain Firme was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The Thunderstrock fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Thunderstrock's Pascual Gregory looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Remigio Furtado took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Emeterio. Amancio Emeterio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Amancio Emeterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Gregory in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Thunderstrock's Pascual Gregory sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Emeterio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute Melchor Ekaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Thunderstrock getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ismael Quinten hit a great ball. Ricardo Cordearo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Thunderstrock's Fausto Araújo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melchor Ekaitz was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Gualterio Lander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Udalaitz. Thunderstrock's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Lander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Epifanio Udalaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Ekaitz's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Pascual Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Emeterio was a little too slow when Pascual Gregory got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. Gualterio Lander made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Thunderstrock's Dario Silvino. 85 minutes into the match, Thunderstrock's Pascual Gregory sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Emeterio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Bartolo Benat made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Udalaitz. Thunderstrock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Epifanio Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Savion in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute Rolando Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Thunderstrock had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
