Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saturnino Rio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rolando Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Benigno Ted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Ted stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Ekaitz's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Rolando Savion hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Melchor Ekaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunderland AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlitos F.C the free kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Melchor Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunderland AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Amancio Emeterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sunderland AFC's Amancio Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Qwinton in the 21st minute of play. Bartolo Benat charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Benat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Qwinton might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Emeterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carolo Qwinton ran back to his position shaking his head. Saturnino Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Carlitos F.C's Benigno Ted got control of the ball when Rolando Savion tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sunderland AFC's zone, Saturnino Rio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Emeterio came out of the goal and Saturnino Rio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amancio Emeterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Emeterio came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Carlitos F.C's Carolo Qwinton. But to his dismay, Carolo Qwinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Carlitos F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Ekaitz made a kick off. In the 54th minute, David Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Carlitos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Ekaitz came free, but Benigno Ted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carlitos F.C's Saturnino Rio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Melchor Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ted having to interfere. Carolo Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Emeterio having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Sunderland AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Benat. Saturnino Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Emeterio having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Melchor Ekaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sunderland AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
