After having played for 6 minutes, Flavio Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Fidele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Artemio Selmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirovano FC's Alberto Cuartio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Eloy Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Cuartio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Beltza came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirovano FC's 肖博洋. But to his dismay, 肖博洋 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Pilar defense, Carmelo Azubeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Beltza. The Pilar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Beltza should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Basilio Beltran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirovano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pirovano FC's Basilio Beltran got a free kick in the 27th minute. Artemio Selmo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Alberto Cuartio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilar. In the 36th minute, Anibal Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38thth minute of the game Artemio Selmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirovano FC's Alberto Cuartio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artemio Selmo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Cuartio. Alberto Cuartio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirovano FC's goalkeeper Alberto Cuartio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Selmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Artemio Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Cuartio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Selmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Cuartio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Selmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Cuartio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Artemio Selmo made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Cuartio. Pirovano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Artemio Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Beltza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Artemio Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Natanael succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-4. Flavio Fidele might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Cuartio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Fidele ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Cuartio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Fidele in the 82nd minute of play. Artemio Selmo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Cuartio. Alberto Cuartio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. 肖博洋 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Beltza having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Flavio Fidele notched a goal, 6-4, to the right of Pirovano FC's Alberto Cuartio. Alberto Cuartio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pilar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
