The referee showed Tomás Perutxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Moroleón Futbol Club getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tomás Perutxo hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Moroleón Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Ourente. With a little luck, Moroleón Futbol Club's Ermegildo Feo got control of the ball when Felipe Tab tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Artemio Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Artemio Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moroleón Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Ourente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rodolfo Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moroleón Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Egoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomiro Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Chan in the 26th minute of play. Rodolfo Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Egoitz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UnderGooLL's Freddy Frichoso got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Ourente in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Egoitz saved UnderGooLL from getting behind. After the first half Moroleón Futbol Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Baldomiro Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Danel in the 51st minute of play. Zacarias Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, UnderGooLL's goalkeeper Baldomiro Egoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Ourente. Atilano Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Feo having to interfere. Artemio Ourente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UnderGooLL's Baldomiro Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Chan in the 70th minute of play. Ermegildo Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 78 minutes, Atilano Evis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UnderGooLL and the Moroleón Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Herminio Ongile from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Baldomiro Egoitz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Artemio Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Baldomiro Egoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, UnderGooLL's goalkeeper Baldomiro Egoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Ourente. Moroleón Futbol Club played a much better game than UnderGooLL and deserved their victory. The UnderGooLL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
