Romeo Ostadar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 33rd minute, Club Vivanco's Fabio Tirso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fermin Erlantz. Fermin Erlantz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Tirso got free with Fermin Erlantz in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matatlan's Fermin Erlantz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Matatlan from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Matatlan's Gaspar Senon got a free kick in the 38th minute. Club Vivanco's Jose Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Carmelo Obano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matatlan and the Club Vivanco players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Tirso made a kick off.
