After a rather tough play, Sinquil's Luis Abascal got a free kick in the 41st minute. Edelmiro Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Txanton having to interfere. Andres Casado's late challenge caught a CF Tlacuates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Ourente came out of the goal and Ignacio Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ignacio Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Duardo in the 64th minute of play forced CF Tlacuates's goalkeeper Federico Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Sinquil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Silvanito to maneuver through the defense.
