If Delmiro Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rincón 's Jesus Remir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Valente in the 39th minute of play. Carmelo Estebe stood somewhat misplaced when Delmiro Efraim came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. After a rather tough play, Sorrento's Albano Belasko got a free kick in the 45th minute. Delmiro Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Carmelo Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Efraim in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Efraim in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Estebe saved Sorrento from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, Rincón 's Delmiro Efraim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmelo Estebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 62nd minute Emanuel Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Estebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Estebe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Efraim's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Delmiro Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rincón booed when Sorrento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Egoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Estebe didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rincón 's Emanuel Jerrald shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Sorrento were furious when Edelmiro Eduino was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. The referee ignored Rincón 's protests and gave Ernesto Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sorrento booed when Rincón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carmelo Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Efraim in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rincón fully deserved thier win.
