Nereo Quintan came out of the goal and Hilario Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Evangelista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Quintan having to make a save. Saul Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Quintan having to interfere. Crystal Blue FC's Nereo Quintan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Mitxel in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Munio to make the kick off. Jeremias Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Silverio Tohias ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Crystal Blue FC defense, Saul Natanael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Quintan. The Crystal Blue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Quintan should have stopped the shot. In the 67th match minute, Crystal Blue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Galtero to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Quintan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Raymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nereo Quintan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Benigno Raymon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Quintan. Crystal Blue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Raymon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Nereo Quintan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Raymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Benigno Raymon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Quintan was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Querétaro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
