German Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, German Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Médano AFC's Jonathan Admon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Anacleto Arnas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Omar Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Admon in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Anacleto Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Médano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Arnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Su breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Panfilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Panfilo made a kick off. The supporters of Médano AFC booed when Pilar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Médano AFC's Filiberto Marko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Filiberto Marko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Médano AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filiberto Marko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Cecilio Rik shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Alvaro Cordarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilar FC's Omar Su was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteban Garaona ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Cordarin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Su saved Pilar FC from getting behind. After 83 played minutes Pilar FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Cuarto. In the 89th minute Jonathan Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Su stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Cordarin's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Omar Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Cordarin in the 95th minute of the match. Alvaro Cordarin struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Omar Su didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Médano AFC. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Médano AFC fully deserved thier win.
