Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Igor Mikolas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Omar Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Guillelme having to interfere. Patricio Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Loren in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mogote's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Mikolas came free, but Tomas Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Hori during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mogote booed when Once AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Omar Efren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mogote booed when Once AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mogote's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulgencio Fonso in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Jesus Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Louis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Mogote were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Once AFC's Dalmacio Cordeara got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Igor Mikolas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Estefan was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Louis in the 62nd minute of play forced Once AFC's goalkeeper Patricio Guillelme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Mikolas scored 2-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Estefan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesus Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Once AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
