The supporters of JUNIORS BOCA booed when Saucelito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Ostadar didn't get a good kick on the ball. JUNIORS BOCA's Camilo Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Garin in the 33rd minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Guipuzkoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JUNIORS BOCA! When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Francisco Vimaro put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Severo Ciceron. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

JUNIORS BOCA's Camilo Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Gaskon in the 54th minute of play. After 90 played minutes, Saucelito's Anacleto Sandalio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Guipuzkoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saucelito reached it. Francisco Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Severo Ciceron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUNIORS BOCA. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
