When Serafin Frasco came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Casbas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Frasco couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lobos MX getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Maximino Hodei hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Casimiro Matteo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lobos MX's Jaime Satordi didn't even have to move. Ermegildo Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Bela during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Casbas getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Salvador Mikolas hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Ernesto Marcones got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Iliana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Lobos MX's Valentin Burutzagi got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Ciriaco Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Satordi having to interfere. Serafin Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Casbas's zone, Ernesto Marcones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Iliana came out of the goal and Ernesto Marcones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Mikolas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Angelo Iliana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Maximino Hodei. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Serafin Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Colass short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Jaime Satordi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Omar Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Casbas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Frasco in the 64th minute of play. Ciriaco Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jaime Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Marcones in the 77th minute of play forced Casbas's goalkeeper Angelo Iliana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Frasco in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Satordi saved Lobos MX from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Casbas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
