Pauli Palander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Pauli Palander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Major Barna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Major Barna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pauli Palander. Major Barna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Pauli Palander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 67th minute of play. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pauli Palander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakos Endre to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Pauli Palander managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Hungary's Balazs Lajos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
