Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dalmacio Ireno kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Guanajuato getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Leonardo Argoitz hit a great ball. Guanajuato's Oscar Atauri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Guanajuato from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Castillo FC's Aristides Emesto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Atauri. Oscar Atauri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Aristides Emesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Castillo FC's Aristides Emesto in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guanajuato's goalie prevented a goal. After 30 minutes, Benito Giraldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castillo FC and the Guanajuato players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Castillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Giraldo. Gavino Stephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Castillo FC's zone, Dalmacio Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Urbasa came out of the goal and Dalmacio Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Guanajuato's goalkeeper Oscar Atauri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Rainerio. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Castillo FC's Maximo Mark got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Castillo FC's goalkeeper Rolando Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Stephen. Dalmacio Ireno struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rolando Urbasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanajuato. Dalmacio Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Urbasa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Ireno in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Urbasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Atauri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Emesto went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Aristides Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Emesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 minutes, Isidoro Quin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanajuato and the Castillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78thth minute of the game Aristides Emesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guanajuato's Oscar Atauri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Stephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute, Dalmacio Ireno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Castillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Loramendi. 88 minutes into the match, Castillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Ireno came free, but Rolando Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Palben's late challenge caught a Castillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Palben helped the player get up and apologised. Castillo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guanajuato for a fine match.
