Benicio Inge came out of the goal and Anastasio Kaiet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes, Astor Edorta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Languileo FC and the Alastuey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Languileo FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Edorta. If Elpidio Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Benicio Inge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Pagomari during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Alastuey FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Pagomari. The corner ended in Filomeno Frantzes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alastuey FC's Ladislao Sadurni did a great save. In the 45th minute Anastasio Kaiet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Alastuey FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Kaiet was the one to do the kick off. Anastasio Kaiet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Alastuey FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benicio Inge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Martxot in the 54th minute. Languileo FC's Benicio Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Kaiet in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Languileo FC's goalkeeper Benicio Inge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Martxot. Fernan Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ladislao Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Donostia in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Alastuey FC's Elpidio Martxot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Inge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 81 minutes into the match, Alastuey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Raymundo came free, but Ladislao Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Languileo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Frantzes to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Bizi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alastuey FC's Eugenio Gaskon got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Filomeno Frantzes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladislao Sadurni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alastuey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Kaiet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Inge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
