In the 5th minute, Celestino Maurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Leonardo Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Gizon struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Teofilo Vigil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independencia FC. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RUSHERS FC! Ildefonso Nafarroa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Teofilo Vigil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Gizon in the 22nd minute of the match. Independencia FC's Alonzo Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Maurin in the 27th minute of play. Leonardo Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Emilio Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Independencia FC's Nereo Gartzea got a free kick in the 37th minute. Teofilo Vigil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Quexal in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, RUSHERS FC's Ivan Rayman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivan Rayman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of RUSHERS FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivan Rayman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RUSHERS FC! The Independencia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RUSHERS FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Gizon to make the kick off. Severiano Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Porfirio having to interfere. Adan Goren hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Teofilo Vigil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Gizon went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, RUSHERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Gizon came free, but Teofilo Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Gizon in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Vigil saved RUSHERS FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in RUSHERS FC's zone, Leonardo Gizon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Vigil came out of the goal and Leonardo Gizon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Independencia FC's Carmelo Quexal in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RUSHERS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Severiano Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, RUSHERS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Modestio to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Vigil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Gizon in the 91st minute of play. Ambrosio Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Quexal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Leonardo Gizon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independencia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Gizon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Vigil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Independencia FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
