Spectators: 6688 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabio Lopez got the match started through his kick off. SmellMex F.C.'s Gregorio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Lopez in the 10th minute of play. If Rodolfo Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hermengildo Lizer fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vargas's protests and gave Hermengildo Lizer a yellow card for diving instead. Hermengildo Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Cipriano Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SmellMex F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Iztal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Iztal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vargas's Ovidio Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Iztal in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Vargas's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Primo came free, but Ovidio Emenon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Cipriano Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SmellMex F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Iztal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidio Emenon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cipriano Iztal came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the SmellMex F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Iztal couldn't finish the play. If Cipriano Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Emenon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Primo in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Primo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Vargas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cipriano Iztal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodolfo Primo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidio Emenon. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. After 57 played minutes SmellMex F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Odon. Ovidio Emenon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Cordeara went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Primo might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Emenon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Primo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Cipriano Iztal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Rodolfo Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Rodolfo Primo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, SmellMex F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Segio came free, but Gregorio Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Rodolfo Primo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidio Emenon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 88th minute Fabio Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Larra charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Larra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Vargas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Larra to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, Norberto Segio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gregorio Boniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
