Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elvio Sanchez took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cuervos Ecatepec's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Tirso came free, but Ubaldo Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Copetonas's Ermegildo Leizarraga got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Cuervos Ecatepec's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anacleto Joseph fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Blas Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ermegildo Leizarraga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. Ermegildo Leizarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Elvio Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Harriet having to interfere. The supporters of Cuervos Ecatepec booed when Copetonas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Cuervos Ecatepec got a freekick which was hit by Amador Lordi. With a little luck, Cuervos Ecatepec's Ubaldo Daunte got control of the ball when Anacleto Joseph tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elvio Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 played minutes Cuervos Ecatepec got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Sanchez. Elvio Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gervasio Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anacleto Joseph to make the kick off. Copetonas's Leo Tirso got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Joseph struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ubaldo Daunte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copetonas. If Anacleto Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Adan Lorien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervos Ecatepec and the Copetonas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Copetonas booed when Cuervos Ecatepec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuervos Ecatepec's Ubaldo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Joseph in the 70th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play Cuervos Ecatepec's Adan Lorien was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 71 played minutes Cuervos Ecatepec got a freekick which was hit by Adan Lorien. Marcelino Blai, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 73 played minutes Cuervos Ecatepec got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Sanchez. Anacleto Joseph scored 3-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Daunte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Copetonas's Camilo Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ubaldo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Joseph in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Elvio Sanchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervos Ecatepec and the Copetonas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Cuervos Ecatepec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. Copetonas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
