Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celestino Barros got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Caballa FC booed when Chapelco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Nevada's late challenge caught a Caballa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Nevada helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Chapelco got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Nevada. Carlos Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Godfredo Guillelme, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jairo Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Barros in the 38th minute of the match. Adan Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adan Lope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Benjamin Firme made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Tome was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celestino Barros in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Saturnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Saturnin having to interfere. Celestino Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jairo Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Barros in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Saturnin saved Caballa FC from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Celestino Barros fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jairo Saturnin, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 89 minutes, Celestino Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapelco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albino Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jairo Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Saturnin made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Albino Dolfo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Celestino Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Saturnin. That made the score 0-2 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chapelco had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
