After 14 minutes of play Concepción's Siro Regis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Siro Regis got a free kick in the 15th minute. Aguay's Lorenzo Ostadar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Concepción. When Siro Matro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Matro couldn't finish the play. Higinio Enmanuel struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Everardo Onbera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción. Guido Blai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Fulgencio Diaz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Concepción's goalkeeper Fulgencio Diaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción's zone, Guido Blai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Diaz came out of the goal and Guido Blai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Diaz having to interfere. Guido Blai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fulgencio Diaz made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Matro to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Guido Blai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Blai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Diaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siro Matro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Everardo Onbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Matro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Onbera having to interfere. Aguay's Aquiles Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
