After 5 played minutes Morenillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Chus. Silvio Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Lazcano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Dorio in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Lazcano saved Morenillo AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Eduardo Maore could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Claudio Behe however easily saved by the left post. Eleuterio Napier struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Claudio Behe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morenillo AFC. Eduardo Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Behe having to interfere. Simon Ur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Desiderio Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Ramond charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Ramond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 minutes Suruipiana AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Rudolfo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Morenillo AFC's corner Mario Rudolfo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudio Behe quite easily take care of the ball. Cirilo Chus's late challenge caught a Suruipiana AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Chus helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Morenillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Chus. Simon Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Lazcano having to interfere. Desiderio Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Ur, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Simon Ur came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Suruipiana AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Ur couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Simon Ur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suruipiana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Ur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 52 played minutes Morenillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Bazkoare. Simon Ur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Lazcano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Simon Ur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desiderio Lazcano. Simon Ur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Ceferino Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Desiderio Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Suruipiana AFC booed when Morenillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Ceferino Dorio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Desiderio Lazcano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80thth minute of the game Eduardo Maore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suruipiana AFC's Claudio Behe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ceferino Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Ur in the 86th minute of the match.
