When Julian Raphael fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gutemberg's protests and gave Julian Raphael a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Julian Raphael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Beltran threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gutemberg's Önder Göktürk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ZiTaCuArO's Dalmacio Beltran shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raul Ticho but with some difficulty. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZiTaCuArO's goalkeeper Blas Arano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of ZiTaCuArO booed when Gutemberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Astor Serafo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gutemberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 39 played minutes Gutemberg got a freekick which was hit by Önder Göktürk. ZiTaCuArO's Fermin Quintan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raul Ticho but with some difficulty. Benicio Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ticho having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Benicio Min hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Raul Ticho came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ZiTaCuArO's Angelino Afonso. But to his dismay, Angelino Afonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Prudencio Maule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Raul Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Min, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Afonso in the 74th minute of play forced Gutemberg's goalkeeper Raul Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Prudencio Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ticho having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Angelino Afonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Ticho. Gutemberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Afonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. ZiTaCuArO were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
