Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Sauveur to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Andres Niva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Medinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Niva should have stopped the shot. If Sixto Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Maximo Honesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Niva was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Prospero Ciano charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Ciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Maximo Honesto put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Andres Niva. The Medinas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching recreativo carboni fc's performance.
