Delmar Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Maore in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Naunauco's Clemente Gitano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gogo Nayely. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Naunauco's Arnulfo Asur fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Asur got free with Gogo Nayely in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gogo Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Gitano in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Basilio Haritzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Nayely showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnulfo Asur in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gogo Nayely, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Florencio Quintyn's late challenge caught a Naunauco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Quintyn helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zapla AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Florencio Quintyn hit a great ball. Apolo Hitzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Hitzeder in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Arnulfo Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 52 minutes into the game, Aldo Noe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zapla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naunauco the free kick. After 52 played minutes Zapla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Noe. 55 minutes into the match, Zapla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Asur came free, but Gogo Nayely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Apolo Hitzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Ilixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maore in the 59th minute of the match. Apolo Hitzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Delmar Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Naunauco's zone, Damian Maore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Ilixo came out of the goal and Damian Maore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Ilixo having to interfere. Naunauco's Clemente Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
