Hector Bixintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Chaime in the 8th minute of play. When Prudencio Amato came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Yurucuá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Amato couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Bartolome stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Macario's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Yurucuá FC's Hector Bixintxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Polentzi in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Donado FC defense, Prudencio Amato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Bartolome. The Donado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Bartolome should have stopped the shot. Yurucuá FC's Isidoro Martino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Erasmo Bartolome but with some difficulty. Hilario Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Erasmo Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes, Yurucuá FC's Isidoro Martino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erasmo Bartolome came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yurucuá FC reached it. 24 minutes into the game, Mariano Gelmiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Donado FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yurucuá FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Donado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Gelmiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Hilario Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hilario Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Amato's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Erasmo Bartolome skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Marcos Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jorge Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prudencio Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Bartolome having to interfere. A hard shot 45 in the game by Prudencio Amato from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Bartolome managed to make a qualified save. Donado FC's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Macario was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Chaime blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Bixintxo having to make a save. Marcos Chaime struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Hector Bixintxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donado FC. If Santiago Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Osoro charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiburcio Osoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Donado FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Yurucuá FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cleto Faron, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Donado FC's Erasmo Bartolome. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Macario in the 88th minute of play forced Donado FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hilario Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes of play, Yurucuá FC's Prudencio Amato made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Bartolome was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donado FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
