Spectators: 5970 (Terracing: 4600, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Desiderio Benino took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Desiderio Benino came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Yanimas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Benino couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Necaxa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Benino came free, but Ruben Xabat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Yanimas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Evangelista to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Enetz in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Gregorio Bortzaioriz made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Felipo. Yanimas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gregorio Bortzaioriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Necaxa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Benino came free, but Ruben Xabat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ruben Xabat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Evangelista kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Necaxa FC's keeper Ruben Xabat was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yanimas's goalkeeper Leopoldo Felipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42nd play minutes Gregorio Bortzaioriz shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Leopoldo Felipo and just under the crossbar into goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Bortzaioriz to make the kick off. The supporters of Necaxa FC booed when Yanimas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Llope didn't get a good kick on the ball. Necaxa FC's Haroldo Enetz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Haroldo Enetz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute, Desiderio Benino made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Xabat. Necaxa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 68 played minutes Yanimas got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Llope. Leopoldo Felipo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gregorio Bortzaioriz sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes, Yanimas's Celestino Obano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruben Xabat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yanimas reached it. Isidoro Evangelista hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alberto Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Gregorio Bortzaioriz put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leopoldo Felipo. Ruben Xabat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Necaxa FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
