Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Balcarce FC's Virgilio Ospetsu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ermegildo Calisto spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Balcarce FC's goal. Virgilio Ospetsu charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Ospetsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Soberano FC booed when Balcarce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Balcarce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Orixe to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Thomas in the 15th minute of play. When Fulgencio Dunixi fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balcarce FC's protests and gave Fulgencio Dunixi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Soberano FC booed when Balcarce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Cipriano Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Dalmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Cipriano Thomas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soberano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cipriano Thomas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balcarce FC's Rafael Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Thomas in the 35th minute of play. Cipriano Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Dalmai having to interfere. Marcial Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Cipriano Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soberano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Thomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 played minutes Balcarce FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Orixe. After the first half Soberano FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cipriano Thomas made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Thomas might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Dalmai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Thomas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Cipriano Thomas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafael Dalmai, passed just outside the right post. Rafael Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Thomas in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Soberano FC's Virgilio Txurio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Virgilio Txurio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soberano FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Virgilio Txurio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 60 minutes into the game, one of Soberano FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Balcarce FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antonio Senin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Soberano FC's Nicasio Gau. 1-2. In the 64th match minute, Balcarce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Ospetsu to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Hulberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balcarce FC's goalkeeper Rafael Dalmai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teobaldo Hulberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Soberano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Guipuzkoa came free, but Nicasio Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Francis scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Dalmai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cipriano Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Dalmai having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Soberano FC's Teobaldo Hulberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Dalmai. Rafael Dalmai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Soberano FC played a much better game than Balcarce FC and deserved their victory. The Balcarce FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
