In the 26th minute, Clucellas's Daniel Shantala ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inocencio Viator. Inocencio Viator yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Clucellas's Nicolas Todor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Harri in the 31st minute of play. Arnoldo Salomon might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Todor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Salomon ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Harri in the 34th minute of play forced Clucellas's goalkeeper Nicolas Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Ambrosio Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Miliano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Shantala to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Arnoldo Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL AMERICA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Salomon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emanuel Harri came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the REAL AMERICA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Harri couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Jacinto Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 62 minutes on the clock, Silvestre Gilesindo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 61st minute, one of REAL AMERICA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for REAL AMERICA. The supporters of Clucellas booed when REAL AMERICA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Teodoro Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Etxatxu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Inocencio Viator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clucellas. When Daniel Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Clucellas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Shantala couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Daniel Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Viator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clucellas.
