Nicolas Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Demario in the 7th minute of the match. Copina FC's Nunez Tello pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 17 minutes, Elias Berto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayajaso AFC and the Copina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ayajaso AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Elias Berto hit a great ball. Adan Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Elias Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Gavino Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Copina FC's Adan Maura got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Nicolas Iaki made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Cecilio Piorno sent off a good shot on target. Adan Maura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Bermudo having to make a save. After having played for 38 minutes, Alonzo Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Onofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adan Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Demario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Iaki having to interfere. Epifanio Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Ayajaso AFC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Copina FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateo Aimar took the corner. The corner led Ayajaso AFC's Mateo Aimar to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolas Iaki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Adan Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Elias Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Adan Maura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jonathan Cambranes fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copina FC's protests and gave Jonathan Cambranes a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Copina FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Cambranes. In the 65th minute Cecilio Piorno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Copina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Piorno came free, but Nicolas Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Copina FC's Adan Maura made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Bermudo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Onofre during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Copina FC got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Onofre. After 78 played minutes, Ayajaso AFC's Mateo Aimar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Iaki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ayajaso AFC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Cecilio Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayajaso AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Piorno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Iaki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cecilio Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Maura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Elias Bermudo made a huge save. Gavino Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayajaso AFC's Elias Bermudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ayajaso AFC from getting a goal against them. Copina FC's Adan Maura got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Copina FC played a much better game than Ayajaso AFC and deserved their victory. The Ayajaso AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
