With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Berenguer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Americo Domenec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Endira to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Domenec couldn't finish the play. The Guido FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guido FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
