After 7 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Dantae. 10 minutes into the match, Aldo Txeru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Urtsin, 1-0. The supporters of Sarmiento booed when Leoncitos Jr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Txeru in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Urtsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramon Emeterio hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Aldo Txeru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Simon Urtsin. Aldo Txeru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Leoncitos Jr's goalkeeper Simon Urtsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Simon Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Conrado Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leoncitos Jr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Nataniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Emeterio in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldo Txeru made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Romeo Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Gasteiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Isaac Beila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leoncitos Jr. Isaac Beila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Nataniel in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Romeo Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Gasteiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Urtsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leoncitos Jr's Ramon Emeterio got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Nataniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sarmiento's Romeo Gasteiz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Txeru in the 70th minute of play. Conrado Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Isaac Beila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leoncitos Jr. In the 84th minute Aldo Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Sarmiento's German Mon made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Urtsin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Romeo Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Ramon Emeterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leoncitos Jr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Emeterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sarmiento could leave the field as winners, despite Leoncitos Jr having more of the ball for most of the match.
