Zeledon Panpili made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Aldo Laffitte sent off a good shot on target. Blas Cresitobalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Cloyo's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Placido Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Panpili having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Prospero Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Edelmiro Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acostilla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Cresitobalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edelmiro Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Cresitobalo having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chivas Rayadas! The referee gave Acostilla AFC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. Zeledon Panpili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acostilla AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Panpili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prospero Cloyo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Blas Cresitobalo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Blas Cresitobalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Bermudo in the 96th minute of play. If Aldo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Acostilla AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
