Blas Cresitobalo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Wilfredo Dacio sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Chivas Rayadas's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Lluciano came free, but Blas Cresitobalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mollar booed when Chivas Rayadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Dacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Blas Cresitobalo made a huge save. Gonzalo Lluciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blas Cresitobalo having to make a save. After having played for 31 minutes, Wilfredo Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mollar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Dacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chivas Rayadas's Aldo Laffitte got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Mollar's Gonzalo Lluciano in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Blas Cresitobalo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chivas Rayadas through an amazing save. If Gonzalo Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute of the match, Wilfredo Dacio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Blas Cresitobalo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 43rd match minute, Chivas Rayadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Mollar's Gonzalo Lluciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas Cresitobalo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivas Rayadas's goalkeeper Blas Cresitobalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Rodolfo Joanes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chivas Rayadas and the Mollar players grew even worse after the yellow card.
