Zeledon Panpili was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Dacio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Gonzalo Lluciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Panpili having to interfere. Acostilla AFC's Zeledon Panpili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Acostilla AFC from getting a goal against them. Prospero Cloyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Wilfredo Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Panpili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Dacio in the 31st minute. In the 40th minute Gonzalo Lluciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Panpili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Gonzalo Lluciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mollar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Lluciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Acostilla AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Panpili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Lluciano. 47 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Lluciano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Acostilla AFC's Zeledon Panpili. Zeledon Panpili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

In the 57th match minute, Acostilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Elvio Aires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Panpili skillfully saved the ball. When Rafael Tristan fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acostilla AFC's protests and gave Rafael Tristan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mollar's Alberto Herauso got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Zeledon Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lluciano in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Wilfredo Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Panpili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Acostilla AFC defense, Wilfredo Dacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Panpili. The Acostilla AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Panpili should have stopped the shot. If Gonzalo Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zeledon Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Gonzalo Lluciano came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Mollar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Lluciano couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Rosio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Acostilla AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mollar.
