Calingasta AFC's Cayetano Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Quirze in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Calingasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Machado to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Hulberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Llorian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Hulberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucio Sadurni kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Pascual Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Cejolao AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albano Ciceron fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Celso Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pascual Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Guter during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florentino Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Quirze made a kick off. Celso Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Mergildo having to interfere. Celso Fernandez took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Mergildo. Pascual Mergildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gregorio Rodas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lino Quirze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Llorian was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, Florentino Hulberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cejolao AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calingasta AFC the free kick. A collision led to Cejolao AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Florentino Hulberto hit a great ball. After 64 minutes of play, Calingasta AFC's Albano Ciceron made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Mergildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 67 minutes, Lino Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cejolao AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Quirze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albano Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Ciceron took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Mergildo. Pascual Mergildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Celso Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Pascual Mergildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calingasta AFC. Pascual Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Ciceron in the 91st minute of the match. Carmelo Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calingasta AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cejolao AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
