Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Chepes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Oriol came free, but Ulises Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Amador Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Rafael Oriol came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Florencia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Oriol couldn't finish the play. Cosme Osorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Txeru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Osorio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Chepes FC's zone, Cosme Osorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Txeru came out of the goal and Cosme Osorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Osorio in the 42nd minute of the match. Florencia AFC's Cosme Osorio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Florencia AFC's Rafael Oriol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulises Txeru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 57th match minute, Florencia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Christobal to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Txeru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Oriol went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eriberto Christobal, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Chepes FC's Arnoldo Goizeder got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Maximino Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Damian Manilan sped through Florencia AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximino Aresti. After 74 played minutes Chepes FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Canor. Eriberto Christobal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Txeru. Chepes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rafael Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Txeru was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Cosme Osorio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cosme Osorio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Cosme Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Txeru having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Cosme Osorio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulises Txeru. The goal made the score 1-3. If Rafael Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
