The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee showed Eugenio Cordara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Caroya FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Cordara. In the 21st minute, Astor Sandaili sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caroya FC's Elias Perpinya didn't even have to move. In the 23rd minute Vinicio Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Gomesano in the 35th minute of play. If Vinicio Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Elixio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Perpinya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Fonso to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Nahia scored 1-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Perpinya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Caroya FC's Teofilo Favila got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fulgencio Loi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Favila in the 72nd minute. Modesto Katia kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Gomesano during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Gomesano in the 76th minute of play forced Scala FC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Modesto Katia fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scala FC's protests and gave Modesto Katia a yellow card for diving instead. Scala FC's Fulgencio Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Gomesano in the 85th minute of play. Jose Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Perpinya having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Jose Elixio put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elias Perpinya. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Scala FC had won after a very even match.
